You are invited to a FREE Climate Farm Demo event to explore the solutions anaerobic digestion provides for challenges faced by dairy farmers.
Hosted by Innovation for Agriculture the event will take place at the Southwest Dairy Development Centre on Thursday 20th of February 2025 running from 10am to 2pm.
As the dairy sector aims to reduce its climate impact and improve the efficiency and sustainability of farming enterprises this event will showcase the opportunities for all herd sizes that anaerobic digestion provides. It will include the opportunity to:
- Tour the robotic diary facility at the Southwest Dairy Development Centre and understand the decision-making process leading to the installation of an AD plant.
- Learn more about the practical solutions AD provides to on farm challenges.
- Talk to and learn from experts showcasing how AD can increase the environmental and financial sustainability of your business.
- Discover more about the nutrient density and uses for the output from AD.
Farmers and industry experts will share their insight into why an AD plant is a worthwhile investment for many businesses. They will talk through the waste management and business diversification opportunities AD provides alongside the nutrient efficiency and circular farming benefits.
In addition, the farm tour will give a visual insight into the challenges faced by the Dairy Development Centre and provide context as to why an AD plant is required.
