From 10am to 4pm on 6th February 2025 we'll be hosting a calf technology event at Harper Adams University!
This highly interactive event will include lively workshop discussions exploring how technologies can work for calves, calf rearers, farms and wider industry. Speakers include award-winning dairy farmer Karen Halton, sharing what really matters in calf rearing; Dr Clara Mancini explaining how technology design can focus more on animal needs; and Dr Lisa Morgans who will talk how we can consider the users of technologies. There will also be some lightning talks from technology providers including Wellcalf by Smartbell, Galebreaker, Peacock and Breedr.
With Dairy-Tech the day before at Stoneleigh Park, we hope you take this opportunity to continue your networking efforts in the Midlands by making the short trip to Harper Adams.
We will be inviting a range of delegates including academics, farmers, veterinarians and dairy/beef industry actors and offering plenty of opportunities to network and think about building collaborations for the future – whether that be in practical calf rearing and research, funding opportunities and/or further developments to your technology offerings!
