This Calf Action Network event will provide an opportunity to link up with farmers, calf rearers, vets, industry professionals and researchers to collaborate on calf and youngstock projects or trials.
The event will include:
- A farm walk and discussion
- A workshop to identify key challenges and research priorities
- A ‘matchmaking’ workshop to enable people with different experience but common interests to come together on specific topics
The Calf Action Network is a group of farmers, nutritionists, researchers and industry actors who work together to promote applied, independent research on calf rearing and to improve the availability of information on best practice. The purpose of this event is to link people up to enable collaboration on practical, on-farm research that addresses real challenges.
The event is free to attend, with lunch provided. Registration is essential to ensure we can cater to the right numbers and arrange a car parking permit if required.
