The Farm of the Future – Herefordshire action group launch event will be led by Arran Redman from Innovation for Agriculture and hosted by Billy Lewis of Boycefield Farm.
The event will include a tour of Boycefield Farm, during which Billy, who has previously won the Soil Farmer of the Year award, will share the changes they’ve made to decarbonise the farm business while maintaining profitability and food production.
There will also be an introductory talk about the Farm of the Future Herefordshire farmer action group. The group is for anyone farming in Herefordshire who is considering or starting to make changes to deliver environmental benefits through farming while maintaining profitability.
Getting involved in the group will provide the opportunity to apply for a free one-day ticket for Groundswell, and invitations to farm study tours, as well as local group meetings.
Following the talk all attendees will be invited to stay for food and drinks.
