Farm of the Future: Journey to Net Zero

Together with a strong consortium of authors from top agricultural universities and industry bodies, Innovation for Agriculture was a key contributor to the recently published ‘Farm of the Future: Journey to Net Zero’ report. This extensive piece of work was commissioned by the Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE), with the purpose of bringing together the latest agricultural science, proposing practical and achievable methods for UK farmers and land managers to decarbonise their agricultural practices and to adopt more environmentally friendly farming. The report recognises the significant role that the agricultural industry can play in helping to mitigate against climate change through carbon sequestration and environmental stewardship and seeks to offer the steps to achieve this.
